Welcome!

At the beginning of time (1993) when I first got on the internet, one of my main interests was to find old friends. As the internet content grew and matured over the years, websites popped up that contained some information on old (there's that word again!) friends and classmates, but they weren't free (free is good!).

Hence the birth of the Wakefield Class of 74 website.

Although I registered the domain and designed the website, it really is "our" website.

If you are an alumni, our website needs information from you, stories by you, photos of you, ...anything from you to help make the website more complete.

To respect the privacy of alumni and to hide their email addresses from spammer's web-bots that collect email addresses that are listed on websites, if you are interested in obtaining the most current list of addresses, please send your request to the webmaster.

We would greatly appreciate you keeping your contact information current. If your information has changed, let us know. If we do not have your information, we would love it, so definitely let us know!

For the 1974 alumni: you can have your own (and free) email account with this website's domain. For example, JoeSmoe@wakefieldclassof74.com or whatever you would like.

I realize that you most likely already have an email account, so why would you want another one? Think of it as a web-based email address where, if you change or discontinue your own internet service (e.g. AOL), you'll still have your Wakefield account and won't miss any email from those that write to that address.

If you are interested in having an email account with this domain, send me an email. Be sure to tell me who you are and what you'd like to have as the address. Your account can be set up usually within a few hours.
